How we sort, photograph, and describe what we sell

Everything on this site has been through our shop in Austin, Texas. We photograph in daylight, describe what's right and what's wrong, and answer condition questions before you buy — not after. If a part is cracked, dented, helicoiled, or freshened up with bondo by a previous owner, the listing says so. If we don't know something, we say "we don't know" rather than guess.

Suspension & wheels

Springer forks, telescopic, wheel sets

Front ends and wheel sets get measured before listing: spoke tension, rim trueness (visually inspected), hub bearing freeplay, and any obvious damage. Springer forks are inspected for cracks around the leg mounts and the rocker arm pivots. Telescopic forks are noted for seal weep, slider rust, and any signs of prior bend or repair. Wheel sets with intact original chrome are described differently from re-laced builds.
